ABI FRIENDS/INSTRUCTORS

ABI is a short, intensive program offered by Complete Game Broadcasting for men and women seeking a career in broadcasting.

Did you know that the odds are that you've heard or seen our instructors, or that they may be producing the shows you listen to everyday?

TV/Radio professionals whom I'm very proud to have hired, employed, trained or worked beside over the years.

Deborah Richards

Deborah Richards started her career as a voice talent at the age of 16, the same year she started working for a small radio station. By the age of 20, she was the booth announcer for Georgia Public Television (Now GPB), recording promos and imaging for a statewide network of PBS affiliates. By age 22 she was the morning show Co-host on WKHX, the most successful country music radio station in the Southeast. The show won the Academy of Country Music Award as the best morning show in the USA.

Deborah has since retired from radio to concentrate on voiceover work. She has earned an ADDY Award for her voice work in commercials for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and two TELLY Awards for her voice work in the State of Georgia’s College Lecture Series.

In 2007 she realized another career goal by becoming an audio editor and producer at Captive Sound Studios. Today Deborah works from her home studio and continues to provide voice, copywriting, production services and voice coaching for customers around the world.
